We are looking for a System Administrator to join a growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving both internal infrastructure and customer environments. The position offers fully remote work and flexible working hours, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and working independently.
You will be involved in software deployments, infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and technical documentation while ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade software solutions across customer environments.
- Monitor server performance and ensure systems remain secure, stable, and available.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, software, and hardware issues.
- Investigate outages and identify root causes.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Perform system upgrades, security updates, and infrastructure improvements.
- Administer server infrastructure, firewalls, databases, malware protection, and related services.
- Review application and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Research and implement improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when required.
Requirements
- Experience administering Windows Server environments.
- Good knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services).
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databases; experience with MongoDB is an advantage.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) or Okta.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Microsoft certifications (such as MCSA or MCSE) are considered an advantage.
