Software Vacancy
We are seeking a Software Developer to join a growing internal development team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise business applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across both application and database layers, contributing to the full lifecycle of in-house systems and gradually taking ownership of core platforms over time.
The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining business-critical applications, as well as supporting ongoing system improvements and enhancements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
This position is well suited for a developer who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, solving complex technical problems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimise SQL databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain APIs, middle-tier services, and business logic components
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system errors
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and system improvement discussions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Support and enhance internal proprietary software platforms
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
Requirements
- Experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design principles
- Experience working with Azure and Docker
- Good understanding of software development best practices, testing, and version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
