We’re looking for a Senior PHP (Laravel) Developer to develop scalable backend solutions, collaborate with a talented engineering team, and contribute to the architecture of high-performance platforms. As a Senior PHP (Laravel) Developer, you’ll design, build and maintain modern backend applications using Laravel and PHP 8+. You’ll develop scalable APIs, optimise application performance, contribute to architecture decisions, and work closely with product, DevOps and engineering teams to deliver reliable, cloud-native solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical direction while working with modern development practices and the latest technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
- Strong experience with Laravel.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience with MySQL and Redis.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerised environments.
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Understanding of software design patterns and Clean Architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
