We’re looking for a System Engineer to join a growing technology team within the telecom industry. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-premise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking infrastructure.
- Support virtualization platforms and cloud environments.
- Implement security best practices, patching, and system hardening.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and development teams.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation and system procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a System Engineer or Systems Administrator.
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls).
- Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or Prometheus.
- Microsoft, VMware, or Linux certifications.
