We are looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help build, secure, and maintain a highly available Azure cloud platform. In this role, you will focus on improving platform reliability, strengthening cloud security, and driving modern DevSecOps practices through automation and continuous improvement.

Working closely with engineering teams, you will enhance infrastructure, optimise deployment processes, and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure App Services, networking, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, availability, and overall performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
  • Promote DevSecOps best practices across development and operations teams.
  • Implement cloud security controls following Zero Trust principles and industry best practices.
  • Manage vulnerability assessments, identity and access management, and secure deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and support incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support platform availability outside business hours.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Services, AKS, networking, and cloud governance.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar).
  • Experience working with containerised environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and secure software delivery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting production environments and incident management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
